Chicken Tikka Skewers

Ingredients

Protein:

  • 125g x Chicken Breast

Unlimited:

  • ½ tsp x Ginger
  • 2 x tsp x Tandoori Masala
  • ½ x red chilli (optional)
  • ½ x Lemon Juice & Zest
  • Garlic Salt
  • Pepper

Limited:

  • 1 tbsp x Olive Oil
  • 1 tbsp x fat free yogurt
  • 25g x Simple Tomato Sauce

Method

  • 1. For the marinade, blend all the ingredients until smooth.
  • 2.Cut your chicken into even size chunks roughly 3cm square.
  • 3.Place in the marinade and refrigerate for 1 –24 hours.
  • 4.Allow your skewers to soak in cold water for as long as you marinade the chicken.
  • 5.Skewer the chicken evenly for a better cook.
  • 6.You can pan fry the skewers for 5 to 8 minutes over a medium heat however I much prefer to BBQ for a more authentic smoky taste.
  • Tip: serve these skewers with a large salad and some pickled red cabbage.

Best thing since a slice of cake.!
